New Office

IMPACT has moved into a new and fully renovated office space. With this new and larger office space, IMPACT has now increased its service offerings to assist you down your path to wellness. The facilities are state-of-the-art and the staff members are very knowledgeable. Here is just a sampling of some of our numerous offerings.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists will work with you to help reduce or eliminate your pain. In our exercise room/wellness center work one on one with a physical therapist. After your physical therapy appointment free access is given to the equipment to help improve your progress in the program.

Your physical therapist has access to advanced medical therapy devices to help you feel better. One of those programs we offer is MEDX. The MEDX rehabilitation instruments feature state-of-the-art computer technology that enhances decades of strength training expertise. This equipment helps with medical rehabilitation, physical fitness, sports and strength training. According to research the results of this innovative therapy include pain reduction or elimination and the restoration of your normal daily function. MEDX is best known for helping individuals with chronic injuries.

IMPACT takes a whole body approach to solving your pain and injury problems. One of the main ways we do this is through the Postural Restoration program. The way you breathe, sit, walk, and stand can all be negatively influenced by asymmetry in your body. The asymmetry experienced by your body creates neuromuscular patterns that negatively influence muscle function and the structural alignment of your body. In therapy we work with you to address these underlying postural patterns. This allows you to feel better and prevent further injury.

Custom Foot Orthotics

IMPACT also offers custom foot orthotics. These orthotics help reduce pain and discomfort while walking and standing. Our facility offers state-of-the-art 3D foot imaging paired with the expertise of a physical therapist. The feet are the key to total body wellness and custom foot orthotics are a great first step to feeling better overall.

In addition to custom foot orthotics we offer shoes from Apex. These shoes are medical grade and cup your foot in comfort. The shoes come with excellent insoles, but also have plenty of room to place your new custom orthotics in. The shoes come in business, casual, running, or walking. Go about your business in comfort and style.

Group Fitness Classes

With the increased space in the wellness center we will now be offering classes. These classes are open to anyone interested in improving their health and getting some exercise. The classes offered include Tai Chi, Pilates, and pool therapy. These classes are taught by expert instructors and will be geared to the level of each participant. We are working on expanding our offerings in the wellness center and more classes will be available in the future including Zumba and Yoga.

Custom Bike Fits

Another program we are offering is personal bike fittings. This is a great way to improve your bike ride each and every day. A therapist will determine your cycling goals, as well as discuss any pain or discomfort you have while riding your bike. The therapist will next give you a complete musculoskeletal evaluation and adjust your bike to work with you and fit you better. The result of the bike fit is to stop any pain experienced while on your bike and to also improve your performance and efficiency.

Aquatic Therapy

Our pool was designed by the Postural Restoration Institute for the sole purpose of advancing medical science and improving outcomes of aquatic therapy. The pool gives you a gentle and low impact way to recover from your injury and gradually rebuild your strength. The pool also helps with low back pain during pregnancy and early post-surgical rehabilitation. The specialized sequenced water jetting also helps reeducate your neuromuscular system.
